I primed an 8 x 8 canvas with gesso then painted it all over with adirondack pink acrylic paint. Once dry I added Ranger distress crackle paint in picket fence, inked with worn lipstick then applied perfect pearls all over to make it really shimmer! My image is the gorgeous Diane Duda stamp called 'Believe' available from Funkykits here which I coloured with copics (just for a change!) then applied glossy accents all over. Here's a close-up:~
I made a large lollipop flower out of kraft and the Crate papers, then added some bling to make a pretty centre:~
Also used more of the lush lace from Quixotic Paperie here and the Bazzill jewel templates to add the bling swirls. Here's a side shot:~
Am also going to enter a couple of challenges with this project:
Sketch Saturday-sketch
Pile It On-Furry Friends
Creative Cottage-Flowers
Little Red Wagon-use copics
My Time To Craft-lovely lace
Your Next Stamp-distressing
Pollycraft-Sparkly things
Quirky Crafts-Flowers
As you can probably tell I had soooo much fun making this project!
I also have a bit of news, I've left the Sugar Nellie Design Team so I can try some new things and to have a bit more time to make some fun projects for me. Thanks again Karen for the fab opportunity you gave me-I had a fantastic time-and to all the DT girls and Zoe-they're all fab! Am not going anywhere mind you, will be here just the same amount-even more maybe and watch this space for what comes next!
Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you leave-they mean a lot and I do try to come visit you back too:)

This is gorgeous, Ro! I have about four or five canvases I bought with grand ideas before Christmas...and they are still sitting untouched, so maybe this will provide the necessary inspiration. Hah! :)
