Happy World Card Making Day! I actually can't believe it is that time again!!!
Celebrate World Card Making Day with a Festival of Favourites with the Quixotic Paperie Design Team!
The Quixotic Paperie DT thought it would be fun to mark this year's World Card Making Day with a mini blog hop looking at our favourite Quixotic Paperie DT projects, products from the shop and card making tips, so grab a cuppa and join us!
We would love to hear about your favourite projects, products from Quixotic Paperie or your favourite tips so feel free to share!
My favourite Quixotic Paperie make from this year has been this carousel I made much earlier in the year! The carousel showcases the fabulous Whimsy Spring Stepping horse. The Whimsy horses that are all stocked at Quixotic Paperie here have definitely been right up there with my fave releases this year!
Materials: Spring Stepping, vintage book pages, Shimmerz Spritz and Paints, and a bit of Perfect Pearls.
Stamps: Soooo hard to pick but all the Moonlight Whispers by Kraftin Kimmie have been so fab this year!
Paper: The New Memory Box range-right now I'm loving this BlackBird paper pack-perfect for Halloween makes!
My other favourites have most definetly been the gorgeous Lace and Ribbons Elaine always has in stock, I'm forever stocking up on lace and tulle! ooo and of course the new Viva Decor Glitters, Liners and Pearl Pens-totally replaced my Stickles these have-love em so much!!!
My favourite Tips:
My fave tip is to colour your images last-after the main part of your card is made so you know exactly what colours you're going to use! I always make my cards up in this order!
If you hop along to the following wonderful blogs, there's lots more to see and favourites being shared- hope you enjoy the hop!
Rowena - Crafty Pagan (You Are Here!)
Enjoy the hop and don't forget to share your favourites on your blog (link back to us so that we can see them) or in the comments as you hop around!
Have a wonderful day and hope you get some card making in!!!
Super project! Wow!
ReplyDeleteI also start with the background before coloring:)

Totally gorgeous, this is probably one of my all time favourite makes of yours - but then there are so many beauties to choose from! Kimx
ReplyDeleteThis is just a flying visit; lots of looking but not much commenting because hubby has been hogging the computer we are sharing and it's now really, really, late. This little confection is a real treat and I have enjoyed my little journey through the makes I have missed recently. Warmest wishes, Lesley
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea. Very well done. I love your freaky spirit.
