Sweet November Doorhanger-For the Girls

Morning all! Hope you're enjoying a lovely relaxing Saturday morning! I've been working on this wooden doorhanger for the past 2 evenings, and so enjoyed making it, it's so pretty and girly! I just adore Amy's Sweet November fairy's, this one is called 'Sparkle Thistleweed'-what a fab name! I do love my images to have some real character and these fairys have tons of it! I love working with them!

I bought some handcut wooden doorhangers a week or so ago especially to make some sparkly pretties:) I've coloured 'Sparkle' with my copics, used my clear copic atyou spica pen all over the hair to add sparkle, added shimmerz gold glimmer over the dress and applied a generous coat of Glossy Accents all over the image to provide a bit of sturdiness. Here's a close up:~

All the papers I used are from the new Crate Paper pack called 'Pink Plum' available from Quixotic Paperie here. After covering the hanger with the papers I applied some Distress Crackle Paint in picket fence to all the edges then went over them with worn lipstick distress ink. I used a few scraps to make the lollipop flower below and added some more Shimmerz to the edges then attached a glittery brad to secure. To accent the lollipop flower I also used the bazzill bling templates to add some bling-they're so easy to use!

I used some pale pink roses from my stash and glittered them up with some Stickles which you can see below. Isn't the lace just lush! I absolutely love it, in fact I'm getting quiet addicted to it-you can check out the range here, but I used fuschia and orange.

I'm adding this girly glittery doorhanger to my Etsy Shop to find a new home to sparkle in:)
Here's another yummy flower close-up:~

I'm going to enter this into the following challenges:

Charisma Cardz-something for the kids-this is perfect for little girls and grown up girls alike:)
Stamp Something-Distressed Something-I used distress inks and distress crackle paints and paper distressing on the lollipop flower.
My Time To Craft-Lovely Lace

Well I think that's about it for now! Enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by today and for any comments you leave-love hearing from you!

Quixotic Challenge #3-Kraft and Red-DT card

Afternoon all! Hope everyone's well! Half way through the week already, where is time going! Back today with another Quixotic Challenge, the theme this week was picked by the fabulous Judy, who chose kraft and red-but if you don't have any kraft you can use brown instead. Beautiful combo and it gave me a kick up the bum to use my kraft cardstock that I've been eyeing on the shelf for ages!

Since I saw Amy's beautiful Sweet November fairy stamps I had to have them! They are so funky, I just love em so I've used Fidget Goblinspider on this card-seriously are these not the best named stamps ever:) There's 4 of these beauties available and you can buy them all fromQuixotic Paperie here. Total dream to colour too:)

Stuff: Fidget Goblin spider available from Quixotic Paperie here, copics to colour, Shimmerz blingz paint in fire engine red to colour her hair available here (LOVE this stuff!), Basic grey nook and pantry paper available here, sewing machine, kraft cardstock from stash, hero arts anytime sentiment available here, buttons available here.

Here's a close-up:~

I'm going to enter this over at Creative Inspirations who want to see some sparkle and Flutterby Wednesday who has an open challenge, as long as your project has wings:).

I hope you can join us this week for our kraft and red challenge. If you don't have any kraft you can substitute with brown:) Look forward to seeing your creations! Thanks for popping by and any comments you might leave-love hearing from you.
