Shabby Chic Loveliness!

Good evening! Hope everything is enjoying this gorgeous weather we're having recently-I certainly am!! Wanted to pop on by to show you these lovelies I made! I just adore bookmarks-one of fave little gifts to get and give and nothing is better than handmade right?

These were all made using the gorgeous Artistic OutPost stamps available at Quixotic Paperie. For those outside the UK and Europe you can also grab them direct from Artistic Outpost here.

All the yummy papers are Basic Grey and I've inked them all to look very vintage.

So what's everyone upto over the weekend?! I can't wait for the Royal Wedding-are you having a party or anything whilst watching?

These Bookmarks are available to purchase in My Shop Here;)

Anyways be back soon! Don't forget to check out all the yummy new arrivals at Quixotic Paperie!

Alice in Wonderland Goodies

Afternoon everyone! Hope you've had a fab weekend! It's been absolutely roasting here! This weekend my dad and step mum are visiting so we've been really busy-yesterday we went to the beach and last night we had a lovely meal! I got really sunburnt though yesterday! Today there's been a craft fair in town so we had a good look round and Leo's been playing in and out of the sprinklers this afternoon! All good fun:)

Since I haven't posted much recently I thought I would show you what I have been up to!I've been super busy with My Etsy and Folksy shop and have been having fun making lots of new designs and goodies. Here a few of em!

Here's a Bridal Shower Invitation-there's the invite text inside as well

Fun Eat Me Cupcake Toppers:

There's lots more stuff I've been doing but these are some of my faves! Thanks for stopping by and any comments you might leave-love hearing from you! Sorry I've been such a rubbish blogger recently! Keep your eyes peeled though for random candies:) Enjoy your evening!

Snow Day!

Evening friends! We got a fair bit of snow here yesterday and tonight! Was beginning to feel left out! Sorry for my lack of absence once again but it's all go, especially with the moving, which will be on Tuesday now-cutting a bit fine to Christmas! How's all your preps going? I got the bulk of my cards sent, but still need to do 5 more to catch the last post on Monday, plus parcel some pressies off.

The project today I'm showing is a gift for my brother in law, a calendar and a bookmark. I think he'll like it! I used a mix of papers from Cosmo Cricket 'The Boyfriend' to cover some chipboard and stamped on them in Tim Holtz's large number stamp-I love how big some of his stamps are, perfect for large areas. Feels kinda nice have a big wood mounted stamp in your hands:) I also used my label maker on the front of the calendar. Not sure the brand of the star tape is, picked it up with some of others at a craft show a coupla years now. I used the bind it all machine for the binding and added some twine too. The template for the calendar can be found in my other post here.

Here's a close-up of the bookmark. The skull is also a Tim Holtz stamp. Around the edges of both of the calendar and bookmark I used distress inks and then used the Tim Holtz distressing tool.

Here's a side view of the calendar:~

I'm going to enter this over at Stampin For The Weekend who want to see calendar creations. I just need to make myself one now before the New Year comes along:) It also fits quite nicely with the Secret Crafter's Challenge of last minute gifts. That's it from me! Thanks for popping by and for any comments you might leave, they really mean a lot:) Keep warm xxx
