Sugar and Spice

That's the name of the new collection at Sugar Nellie which you can check out here, and very fitting it is too:) Something for everyone me thinks, even cute babas:) This girly, named Elise, was my fave when I saw her on the peeks at the Sugar Nellie blog and had to ink her up right away! I LOVE her dress, is such a perfect party dress me thinks. Oh don't you just love little girls party dresses?!!! Soooo cute, with there big satin bows and frills! Has made a nice change from making wintery cards as well, feels like I've been making them half the year!

Stuff: Sugar Nellie stamp 'Elise' available here, copics to colour, bazill swiss dots, MME Be Loved paper pack from Quixotic Paperie here, prima say it in crystals here, red satin bow from stash, hero arts sentiment available here

Here's a little close-up:~

Ooo have to tell you about the red bow, you'll never guess where it came from! Tesco were having a bit of an offer on Baileys and since its Christmas and all that.....and all the bottles have these gorgeous red bows on right now! I thought it would look perfect with Elise's party dress!

The layout is from the fab sketch over at Friday Sketchers this week.

Hmm think that's all from me today, gonna watch the X Factor in a sec and eat some cake that I made this afternoon. Yum! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for popping by to see me and for any comments you might leave, I love hearing from you:) Hugs xxx

A Funny Old Weekend but here's something Gorjuss:)

Evening lovely bloggers:) How's your weekend been, or your bank holiday weekend for some? It's been a funny one here! Everything was going well till Ian (hubby) rang yesterday afternoon and said he'd had "a little accident", then the details came.... that he's wrote the car off, he'd spun it and landed upside down. Well, I was in a right kerfuffle! Got to him and he was in the ambulance, police were there, firemen were on their way...the whole lot! He'd managed to get out without so much as a scratch! Thank goodness! He was soooo lucky! There weren't any other cars involved so all that was ok, so we've just got our insurance to sort out now which is going to leave us a bit broke me thinks as we have a huge excess on the insurance:( Oh well am sure it'll sort out one way or the other.

But, onto happier things:) Here'a gorjuss christmassy card! This gorjuss girlie is available fromFunkykits and is perfect for christmas makes me thinks:) All the paper I've used is from my delicious new MME Laundry Line 12 x 12 pad that I got from Elaine at Quixotic at a bargain price as they're on special offer right now for a few more days so get em quick!

Stuff: Sugarnellie Gorjuss Girl 'Little Star' available here and coloured with copics, Papers MME Laundry Line available here, Embellishments (gold cord, charms, lace) available here, raffia from stash, su ribbon, su sentiment, sewing machine, crop a dile for hole punch on tag and core'dinations cardstock.

The layout of this card is from Friday Sketchers, which I've rotated and am also entering it for the ABC challenge as their theme this week is C for circles, and Pile it On's challenge for this week is 'round' so I reckon my card fits in with that too-well at least the paper and sentiment does:) Thanks for popping by and any comments you might leave me, they really make my day, truly! Pile it On-DT Card-Oh Boy!

Morning everyone! Hope everyone is having a good weekend. It's operation clearout here this weekend, we've been getting rid of loads of old stuff and since I'm scheduling this but writing it last night (does that makes sense? hehe) I'll be at a car boot sale trying to sell said stuff! The money will be going in the stamp fund jar:) Anyways....

Since it is Sunday, that means it's Pile it On day and it's a fab challenge again! This week is also my last design team project. The theme this week is called Oh Boy! I know most people struggle a bit with cards for the boys but I do find them quite fun to make, nice change and all. Plus...Sugar Nellie does some fantastic boys stamps so you'll never be stuck for the 'right' image:) I've used one of the new Mary Hall stamps that you can buy as a single or as part of the full collection and there's some fab ones in there. I don't go mad with the combining this week, and I think it's cos I actually had done quite a few earlier in the week I started to run out of challenges! But, I've used the sketch at Friday Sketchers, and of course PIO and ABC challenge which this week is A is for Anything.

Stuff: Sugarnellie stamp by Mary Hall, BasicGrey boxer papers, distress inks in weathered wood and peeled paint, buttons from stash, inkadinkado sentiment, raffia from stash, cosmo cricket ribbon, brads from stash, sewing machine

Make sure you pop by the PIO challenge blog to check out the dt creations and there's a handy list of pretty much all the challenges in blogland to give you a helping hand:) Look forward to seeing your creations! Thanks so much for stopping by and any comments you might leave-they make my day!

Friday Sketchers

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a fab weekend so far! Been nice weather here, was even quite decent on Friday when I went to the beach-we had just left to come home when it started with rain so we were fine. Leo had a great time!

I ordered a couple of Motivet stamps after seeing some of my blogging buddies beautiful creations-these stamps are really sweet, really good service too-arrived in 5 days! I just had to ink this little Doraline up first! This stamp is actually called 'sorry' but I think she looks quite bashful and shy so thought it would be a cute 'i love you' card:) I've used the sketch from Friday Sketchers and am also going to enter it at Creative Inspirations which would like to see distressing.

Stuff: Motivet stamp 'sorry' coloured with promarkers, k and co papers, nesties and cuttlebug, core'dinations card, tim holtz distressing tool, file to sand and scuff, distress inks in antique linen and vintage photo, crochet lace from market, hatpin from ebay.

Don't forget to enter my blog candy giveaway to win 5 sugarnellie stamps of your choice! Thanks for popping by and for any comments you might leave-they make my day!

A Gorjuss Friday Sketchers

Evening everyone! I've had such a good day today. Firstly I won Judy's blog candy-couldn't believe my luck! Then mr postie delivered some images from Bernie and some little extras-she was kind enough to send me images from my wish list and the new gorjuss girlies till I can get em. So I just had to use miss bumblebee which is my fave for this weeks Friday Sketchers. I'm also entering this at Crafty Creations who would like to see birdies this week-and these yummy papers have birdies and cages on. All the papers I've used are Basicgrey, and hopefully you can see the glitter I've added to the card (wings and flowers). I really had fun playing with this! While I was at the glitter I figured I might as well grab some bling too:)

Stuff: SugarNellie stamp (gorjuss girls set 3) coloured with Promarkers, Basicgrey porcelain papers, nesties, cuttlebug, ms doily lace punch, bling, prima flowers, core'dinations card, stickles, smirk sentiment and raffia.

Still no bloomin Magnolia summer kit over here! Anyone else still waiting? Maybe Monday....Ooo don't forget to pop back tomorrow to see my Pile It On dt card. Thanks for stopping by and any comments you might leave! Huggles

Evening everyone! Ooo another hot hot day! I saw that the new Magnolia stamp club has started shipping! Wohooo! My card today is for a few challenges-firstly Friday Sketchers-I only just realised I hadn't played yet and it is one of my faves. I've used turquoise and brown which is the challenge at Stamp with Fun, and Stamp Something would like to see at least 3 embellies and as you can see I used some bling and buttons. I've used another of my new whiff of joy lovelies-maybe this is my new fave-it reminds me of the first time I held Leo:)

Stuff: Whiff of Joy stamp coloured with Promarkers and woj sentiment, Basic Grey Two Scoops paper, core'dinations card, Martha Stewart punch, Prima flowers, Prima crystals, buttons from stash, distress inks.

I've changed my background again-I think I actually like this one and it goes with my banner the best me thinks. Off to watch Big Brother! Huggles

Hello lovely crafty friends!

I've been catching up with the hop and checking out all the creations-they're so fab and it's lovely to see such a varied mix of interpretations!

Well my card today is for Friday Sketchers which is a lovely one once again this week. I've used a SugarNellie stamp that I got recently and hadn't inked up yet, called Scattering Love-I think it's super cute! Friday Sketchers and Cute Card Thursday

My dad wanted me to make a card for his sister-in-law's 60th next month so I've used the sketch over at Friday Sketchers which is another cracker. Will defo be using this again. Am also going to use this for Cute Card Thursday which asks for Letters and/or Numbers this week. I wanted to make a classy card that isn't 'old' because 60 is so not old now is it and she definetly looks great so this is what I came up with?! I used my new goodies that Steph sent me that I won which are gorgeous colours and another Leanne Ellis stamp. I love this one, it's very versatile isn't it. So this is what I used....

Materials: Leanne Ellis stamp for Sugar Nellie, Cloud9 papers, Prima flowers, core'dinations cardstock, cricut for numbers, BoBunny ribbon, brads from stash.

Thanks for stopping by and peeking, I love all your comments. Have a fab weekend!
