Quixotic Challenge-Monochromatic!

Afternoon all! How are we today? Good I hope! These weeks do seem to be flying or is it just me?! So, Wednesday means another challenge from Quixotic Challenges and this week the lovely Carole picked Monochromatic.

After much debating and rummaging around my papers last night (for like an hour!) I finally decided to go with orange which of course fits this Easter card perfectly-how adorable is thisBaby Bunny CC Designs stamp?! Too cute right?! If you've not started your Easter makes then check out the sale that Quixotic Paperie is having right now! There tons of stamps and papers on sale, including the new yummy Cosmo Cricket Material girl and Garden Variety which is on sale at 10% off.

The papers I used on this card are a real mix from MME Bloom and Grow, Sugar Rush, andGreen At Heart . I used some Bazzil Bling to matt. I used some raffia from my stash and attached this super duper cute bunny charm. Here's an image close-up, he's been coloured once again with copics (bunny suit E15, E13, E11, E31, E34-baby bunny E50, E51, E53) :~

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Simon Says Challenge-Easter/Spring with some bling
Shabby Tearoom-Spring and stitching
Incy Wincy-Spring
Allsorts-Spring
Design Dollies-Want to see 3 different types of bling (pearls, bazzill bling cardstock, charm)

Ooo get me with all those challenges! You gotta keep up somehow right?! I hope you can find some time to join us this week over at Quixotic Challenges! Thanks for stopping by today and for any comments you might leave-I really appreciate them! See you soon!

Easter Card no.1

Hmmm, did you know it's Easter soon? Yeah, so did I but it seems to have crept up on me and I haven't made my Easter cards or goodies, so this is my first one I got done tonight. I could end up sending loads but I'm going to keep it to just children or I'll still be doing them at Christmas! I made this card using the sketch over at Charisma Cardz Challenge Blog. My second sketch ever! Now that I've actually had a go, I really like them, it means you can concentrate on just making and what to use instead of adding where to put it all into the equation. For this card I used my Easter Tilda stamp, dcwv pocket full of posies cardstock, dcwv metallic stack, Papermania Easter stamp, promarkers, gems, dovecraft brads, Bo Bunny ribbon and Prima flowers, phew!

I had a lovely day today, the sun was shining, we went out for the day shopping and had a spot of lunch, and my new Magnolia love muffin stamp arrived-I love it!
