Jane Austen

Evening all! Hope you've had a lovely week and for those in the UK we're looking forward to a long bank holiday weekend! And a Royal Wedding! I can't wait myself! Absolutely dying to see the dress!

Anyways, wanted to pop on to show a card I made last night. Now I love of Austen so I was thrilled when Elaine got these awesome new Artistic Outpost stamps in-especially the Jane's Countryside Set! By the way as a special deal this weekend Elaine is offering free p and p on all orders over £25 and since the new lush My Mind's eye papers in 6 x 6 have just arrived it seems a good time to stock up!

So for the paper I used some more Basic Grey and stitched em up! The image is stamped in coffee and I gave it a good ole inking! I'm going to enter this over at Simon Says Stamp where the challenge is anything goes!

If you want to buy these stamps I've used on this card in the US then you can head over to Artistic Outpost.

This card is available for purchase in My Etsy Shop Here! Have a wonderful weekend!

Puddles of Love

Morning everyone! Hope you're all enjoying the Easter weekend! Don't you just love Bank Holidays-especially when the weather's nice!

Anyways Elaine got the brand new Gorjuss girlies in and I had to grab a couple! I bought some prisma pencils just recently-the full set even, and thought it would be a good chance to use them but I went for the trusty copics instead!

I coloured the fab 'Puddles of Love' on kraft with my pens-gives a totally different effect-I love it! all the papers are from the Tim Holtz pad Vintage Shabby-my fave for sure out of all of em! Also Elaine has free p and p on orders over £30 over the bank holiday weekend so it's worth getting a few extra bits!

The flowers are made using some punches and they're embellished with Prima sequin centres-love these-am building quite the little collection!

I also managed to actually follow a sketch-it's been a while! I used the sketch over at Midnight Madness as I haven't played along over there for such a long time!

This card will be up for sale shortly in My Etsy Shop.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Serenity

Hi!

You might have noticed I went quiet for a bit-I was quite poorly for a while with my back but I'm getting there now! Enough to make some stuff anyways! And...Elaine has got the coolest stamps just in at Quixotic Paperie-Artistic Outpost-I love these! I had to buy a couple of sets-and couldn't resist inking up the Serenity set first!

This card is really simple but it looks very striking I think:) I stamped the image onto some Basic Grey Curio paper and layered it onto some black card, and did a bit of stitching. I also inked round the edges using a big and juicy pad and some cotton wool. The backing paper is also fromCurio-new fave! Also some added some flat backed pearls-the range at QP is quite staggering!

You can also buy this set in the US here: http://www.artisticoutpost.com/

Flat view....
This is just going to be a super quick post as I've got a poorly little boy at home! And 've just had the new Craft Stamper delivered from Elaine so I'm going to have a little looky while he watches Cbeebies:) This will be in My Etsy Shop shortly!

Be back again soon!
