Proud Momma

Enter My Blog Candy Here.

Afternoon all! For those of you who have had a long bank holiday weekend hope it was a good one! I've popped on to show you a card I made over the weekend-it's a New baby Card and features the gorgeous stamp by Whimsy designed by Crissy Armstrong called Proud Momma. I coloured the image with my copics and also did a dotted background-great fun to do if you've got a bit of time to have an extra play!

I've used the gorgeous Prima papers 'Melody' stack and used te same papers for the little flowers I punched out. I added some pearls to the centres using the Viva Decor pearl Pen in Ice White (re-stock coming soon).

Birthday Wishes with Whimsy!

Just a real quick post today, am super busy but really wanted to show you this card that I made last week that's been waiting to be posted! This was actually a custom order for a lady in My Etsy Shop as she just loves the Whimsy Carousel horses (also available direct from Whimsy here)-who can blame her eh?!!

I used the yummy Olivia papers by Basic Grey and coloured the image, called 'Wings of Hope' with my copics. The glitter on the wings is the fabby Viva Decor glitter liner in Silver-my Stickles have become redundant now I've found this stuff!

I'm going to enter this over at Creative Card Crew (cute and girly), and dutch dare (anything goes).

Thanks for stopping by! See you tomorrow for the next Quixotic Challenge!

Today I'm showcasing one of Crissy's gorgeous new stamp designs for Whimsy called Maya and Marissa-aren't they adorable! Just such sweeties! I really had fun colouring these girlies in and decided to go all bright and use my unopened Cosmo cricket DeLovely paper pad-I LOVE it! The fun colours go perfectly with this image don't you think? I coloured them in with my copics. The sentiment is from one of Ann's fab new sentiment collections called Fancy Friendship Tags which have just been released today also! If you live in the UK and Europe you can also get your Whimsy Fix from Elaine at Quixotic Paperie:)

Whimsy Digital Stamps Blog Hop-New Release!

Good afternoon everyone! Welcome to the Whimsy Digital Stamp Release Blog Hop! The new Whimsy digital stamp release is utterly fabulous and has exclusive designs by Crissy Armstrong, Katie Sowa and our own Ann Vento. If you've come from Ann's blog you're on the right track-if not then you'll want to start at the beginning at Crissy's blog! If you leave a comment at each stop you could win an awesome candy prize of a $15 certificate to the Whimsy store, Crissy's digital 'Pebbles the cat', Katies digi 'Aww so Tweet', Ann's Mothers Day sentiment and the Whimsy Princess Coach in digi. Fab prize isn't it!

So anyways, today I'm showcasing Crissy's fab turtle digi stamp called Hang in there-too cute right?! Such fun to colour too!

I'm going to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafty Angels-Favourite things (flowers, stitching and the DCWV papers)
TSG-colour combo of lemon yellow, grass gren and aqua
Papercutz-3 patterned papers
Gingersnap Creations-the good earth
Simon Says-Card for a child
Magical Crafts-Animal Antics

All the papers I've used are DCWv The Green Stack (one of my faves!) and the cutie turtle is coloured with copics. The sentiment is from Ann's new digi sentiments which match the images perfectly! You can purchase all the new Whimsy digi's here, you'll get them. I'm personally not a big digi user but believe me when I say these are so super easy to use and resize, you'll get them in a zip file in 3 formats and are available instantly after purchase! Here's an image close-up:~

Don't forget to leave a comment before you hop along to the next stop which is Erin-have fun and good luck with the candy prize! If you don't win the candy treat yourself to some of the Whimsy digi stamps anyways! Thanks for popping by!
