Relax and Rejoice, it's Coffee Time...

Evening friends! Friday tomorrow-weekend is almost here! Ian's got a rare weekend off so really looking forward to it! What have you got planned? Don't forget this Saturday is the Sugar Nellie blog hop! You won't want to miss it, it starts at 1pm GMT and there's tons of candy!

Before all the hopping fun, I've made this card with the new Manga stamp by Sugar Nellie called 'Coffee Time'. I think from what I've seen around blog land this is probably the favourite of the new Mangas-think it's mine too but I change my mind everytime I ink something up! I've coloured her with copics and used my yummy new Basic Grey Sugar Rush papers. I also used my new Prima Holiday Lights Poinsettas- aren't they gorgeous? Elaine at Quixotic Paperie has got tons of new goodies in stock including all the new Prima releases, check em out here.

Here's a close-up:~

I've followed the sketch over at Basic Grey Challenges, am also going to enter it at Sophisticats who want to see stitching, and Pile It On who want to see flowers.

That's about it from me then tonight, thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave me a few words so I know you've been then I can come see you too! Enjoy the rest of your evening:)

Stamp Something DT meets Sugar Nellie DT-Favourite Colours

Afternoon everyone! Nearly the weekend again! Doesn't it come round quick! Today over at Stamp Something this week we want you use your favourite colours/papers, am lovin all the 'favourites'! So I've used my MME Merry Days of Christmas papers again and distressed them all with some frayed burlap distress ink. The adorable stamp I've used is Mr Stocking, part of the new Sugar Nellie Christmas Mangas. Tis hard to pick a fave with Sugar Nellies but I think this is such a cool boy christmas image. I coloured him in twinkling h20s to give a bit more of a muted feel tomatch the distressed papers. Was fun using a different colouring medium! I also used the sketch over at Sunday sketch and stamp, and the theme over at Winter Wonderland this week is vintage and I think this fits nicely. At the Secret Crafter this week they want to see teenage boy creations so this works too and at The Crafty Pad they want to see our Christmas creations!

Stuff: Sugar Nellie Mr Stocking stamp available here, twinkling h20s to colour, MME Merry Days of Christmas available here, buttons from the wild asparagus button box here, gold cord here, core'dinations cardstock, sewing machine, distressing tool, distress ink in frayed burlap.

Well guys I hope you join in over at Stamp Something this week, love seeing all the fantastic entries! Thanks so much for stopping by and any comments you might leave, I love reading them! Have a fab weekend! Huggles xxx

A Manga Christmas!

Evening everyone! Hope we're all well? I want to just say a special thank you for all the lovely comments I had about my first Sugar Nellie design team card-means a lot! I've had a busy few days, lots of fun busy things though!

When my Sugar Nellie dt kit popped through the post on Saturday it was like all my birthdays had come at once! Along with the super delish Autumn kit I also got some Manga Christmas kids-oh I adore them! They're such fun images for Christmas, and something totally different, I just love em! So on my card today I have used the gorgeous Miss Clause-how cute is her little santa outfit!

For the fur trim on her clothes I thought a bit of sparkle was in order and used some Shimmerz Bling-gorgeous stuff! The papers are more yumminess from MME Merry Days of Christmas. Ooo before I forget I'll tell ya about the note paper I added to the card....Now I don't (yet) have the punch that gives the ripped binding effect so I tore some out of an old notbad I'd bound myself with the Bind It all then crumpled it, inked it with distress ink (frayed burlap) and used a prima stamp to add the lines.

The layout of the card is from this weeks sketch at The Corrosive Challenge blog, first time playing there! I'm also gonna enter it at LaLaLa Land who want us to 'embellish it', Everybody Art who want us create a shabby look (think my distressing counts!), Papertake Weekly who want us to 'fake it' and I did fake the punch for my notepaper so think that counts:) Oooo I do love it when something I make works for a few challenges!

Stuff: Sugar Nellie stamp-Miss Clause buy her and her friends here, copic sketch and ciaos to colour, shimmerz bling in gold glimmer from here, MME Merry Days of Christmas from here, metallic gold crocheted ribbon/lace from here, sewing machine, su sentiment, flowers from cuttlebug die, pearls from stash.

So have you ordered your Christmas Mangas yet? They're flying off the shelves! I think this is my 6th christmas card made-at this rate I might actually be quite organised and not in a mad rush in December but I doubt it;) Tis all part of the fun isn't it?!

Thanks so much for popping by and any comments you might leave me-they make my day! Don't forget to come back tomorrow for my Stamp Something card:) Enjoy your evening! Huggles xxx

Mojo Style!

Afternoon everyone! Hows your week going so far? Tis a lovely bright sunny day here:) I haven't played over at Mojo Monday for quite a while and they've got a great sketch this week so I thought I best have a go:)

I've dug deep and pulled out me BasicGrey Urban Prairie papers,a fave of mine so they only get to come out on special occasions these days since its a bit tricky to get more of them for some reason:) I also had some BasicGrey elements stickers and so I used the vines of them to make a stork for the 'flower' that I've fashioned for this gorgeous Sugar Nellie manga girl to sit in. Here's a close up:

Stuff: Sugarnellie Manga girl available to buy here, copics, BasicGrey urban prairie papers, urban prairie elements stickers, bling from stash, nesties, cuttlebug, sewing machine, silver cord from Quixotic here and black crochet lace from Quixotic here, stampin up sentiment, distress ink in broken china, core'dinations cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for any comments you might leave! I love reading them! I shall be back later today with candy so keep your eyes peeled LOL. Huggles xxx

Feeling Bright!

Evening lovely crafty bloggers! Hows your day been? All's good this end, been to Lincoln today to do a bit of shopping, pay some bills and I had to pop into the art shop to buy a few more copics to top my collection up! Slowly, slowly I'm getting there-buying a few copics here and there will slowly add up-I love em! I do like my Promarkers but I really wish I'd bought copics in the first place, ah well!

I can't believe I haven't posted since Monday, tis terrible blogging behaviour! lol. Well I have done some cards, on Tuesday night I had a card to do for my wonderful friend Michelle for her hubby but from her little boy (does that make sense?!) which I gave to her on Wednesday. Because I was a bit last minute making it I forgot to take a piccy! What a wally! Then last night I made my dt card for tomorrow, and well that brings us to today.

Can you tell I'm feeling bright? I just had to have a go with this little beauty from Sugarnellie! Dena, very kindly stamped her up for me as she keep selling out, I just keep missing out on getting her! These manga kids from Sugarnellie have been super popular, and you can see why can't ya! If you haven't checked out the sugarnellie blog you need to to see all the beautiful new stamps coming soon-including christmas manga kids! These are sooooo adorable, can't wait till they're released!

Stuff: Sugarnellie stamp-Manga girl #2 coloured with copics, mme papers and stampin up, mcgill woodware, and xcut punches for flowers and branch, raffia lace, spacers and buttons from Elaine at the fab Quixotic Paperie, su scallop punch, sewing machine and core'dinations card.

For the layout of this card I've used the Midnight Madness sketch which is another fabby one-the guys over there are just fantastic and the prizes amazing so if you haven't played along yet do check it out! I'm also entering this at Lalaland who want to see stitching-real or faux. Well I'm gonna go catch up with Big Brother-I'll be back tomorrow afternoon with my Stamp Something dt card. Thanks so much for popping by and any comments you might leave-they make my day! Huggles xxx
