First Ever Sugar Nellie Design Team Card!!!

Evening everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend?!I think I'm getting over my cold and chest infection now, feeling tons better:) I was absolutely spoilt on Saturday-I got 4 fabulous parcels through the post-my 1st Sugarnellie dt kit (sooooooo exciting!), my blog candy from Tara, my blog candy from Cass and a dt package from Quixotic! Totally spoilt right?! Tellin ya, they proper cheered me up:) Thanks so much to Tara and Cass for the blog candy-it must have been my lucky week last week, and the goodies I won were absolutely scrummy!

So I had to ink up some Sugar straight away-was a tough choice but I went with the cutie from the Sugarnellie Autumn Kit. The Kit is such fab value at £23.99-you got loads of stamps and really sweet accessory stamps perfect for the insides of your cards or projects. As my card is all Autumnal it fits perfectly for the OCC this week which is Fall, and Whimsy Challenges who want to see Autumn colours-I chose brown, green and blue with a touch of copper. Here's a close up:~

Stuff: Sugarnellie Autumn Kit available here, copics to colour, DCWV The Green Stack from Quixotic here, metallic crocheted lace here, buttons here, sizzix original flower die (total bargain from ebay last week), raffia from stash, hero arts sentiment here, distress inks, nesties, sewing machine, core'dinations card, martha stewart punch.

Keep an eye out over at Funkykits....the new christmas mangas should be on sale Tuesday/Wednesday and I am pretty sure there will be sell outs and you definetly don't want to miss em! Right, am gonna get back in my craft room now and do some more stamping....there's some rubbah calling...Huggles xxx

This week we want to see your Birthday somethings-nice easy one:) I've gone all summery today with my card and used this Sugarnellie cutie called Daisy-she is just the sweetest isn't she?! Since I have gone all summery I'm entering this at The Pink Elephant and Cute Card Thursday's theme this week is Lazy Summer Days which works for this too. Over at Whimsy Challenges this week they'd like us to use ribbons and Papertake weekly who are celebrating their 100th challenge want us to pick our favourite so I've picked 4 seasons which was from 4th august. A new challenge blog Lala land crafts has just opened and their first challenge is flower power-so this works for that too:)

A Card with Gift Holder...

Happy Wednesday everyone! Is this week flying by or what?! I've combined a few challenges again (isn't it addictive?!) and have made something different today-a wallet card and a little gift holder. For the card I've used the sketch at Midnight Madness (I won the midnight masterpiece award this week-was so chuffed!), I've used the colour combo of pink, brown and cream over at Double Dutch. It also qualifies for Whimsy Challenges which want to see animals and am going to enter it for ABC challenge which is Anything Goes, Allsorts which is vintage, and Paperplay Challenges which is all creatures great and small. The gift holder was made from the previous Double Dutch challenge, very simple to make but really cute me thinks:).

Stuff: Sugarnellie image Country Cousins range 'Purrfect Playmates', hotp papers flea market, core'dinations card, su ribbon, papermania adhesive pearls, mme wild asparagus papers, prima flowers (insides), lace from stash, fancy pants journalling cards

Have you checked out the sneak peeks on the Sugarnellie blog today? I can't wait for these new stamps to be released-they're soooo cute-my fave is the little girl with her hat and stripey tights! I shall be back in a bit with my candy winner!

Happiness

This image makes me so happy when I see it! I just love the quirkiness of Diane Duda's stamps! The past two evenings I've just not been in the mood for creating though. I realised today this was probably due to mountain of stash on my craft table! I'm not a tidy worker by any means but because I do do alot of crafting and have a habit of not tidying up after it my desk can quickly become covered! So it was time to clear up! Now I have so much space!

I haven't played over at Sketch Saturday for a couple of weeks so thought I best remedy that! I've also combined a few other challenges:) At Whimsy Challenges they want to see your friendship cards (am just in the nick of time for entering this..again!), tuesday taggers (a newie to me) want to see flowers as do A Spoonful of Sugar, and Papertake weekly want to see creations with a theme of a season-I'm going for Summer!

Stuff: Sugarnellie stamp by Diane Duda 'Upside Down', coloured using copics, distress inks in shabby shutters and broken china, core'dinations card, Basic grey papers 'Lemonade collection', McGill flower punch, xcut flower punch, prima and papermania bling, studio g sentiment, BoBunny doublesided ribbon.

We had a fab day at the Farm Park on friday, leo loved feeding the animals! We all went on one of those big trampolines as well-so funny! My candy will be closing soon! I've absolutely loved reading all your comments on what has made you smile-all of em made me smile! I also had a lovely email today from a fellow crafter (if you're reading this Michelle-you really made my day!) which made me smile even more! Hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend-here in the UK we've been super lucky with the weather!

I'm sorry to have not been able to catch up with everyone yet...this week I'll be able to catch up and visit you all! Tonight I managed to finish a card I started on Friday evening using my new magnolia summer kit stamps...I love the fruits in these! I've also combined a few challenges (I am officially addicted to combining challenges!) which are Whimsy Stamps Challenge which was a fabby sketch(I hope I'm not too late...), Cute Card Thursday which is called Get Fruity, Three Clovers which is called tooty fruity and Just Magnolia which is distressing!

Stuff: Magnolia stamp coloured with copics, distress inks in broken china and shabby shutters, papers by magenta and hotp, prima flowers, buttons and raffia from stash, core'dinations card (blimey I get through this stuff), sentiment by magnolia

I think the sugarbabes are all coming home now after having a fantastic time it seems and I reckon they're coming home loaded with goodies too:) Ooo also if you've been waiting to get your hands on the new Manga kids from Sugarnellie they are now back in stock...hurry though they keep flying out! Night all...

Something Festive!

Hi everyone! Got something a bit unseasonal to show you today! I'm actually still not 100% happy with it, I can't tell you the amount of times I've done and re-done it it but I think this is as good as I'm gonna get it right now. I'm entering it over at Whimsy and Cute Card Thursday which both want to see something Christmassy/wintery and Stamp with Fun who want to see shapes and/or punches. Haven't had much tome to craft as Leo and Ian are both poorly! It's also been a bit busy round here this week with Leo's granddad coming to visit, having playdates, and general running about!

Stuff: Magnolia stamp colored with promarkers, flowersoft (hood), stickles (hood), basicgrey papers, core'dinations card, buttons from the button company, nesties, distress inks, raffia, hero arts sentiment, sizzix die (holly), pearls, SU ribbon.

Have got some new goodies to play with so I'm going to go do that now Leo has finally gone sleepies. Still no Magnolia summer kit though........can you believe it? Anyways...thanks for stopping by and any comments you might leave-they make my day! Don't forget to pop over to Pile It On and check out the fab challenge this week-the only challenge blog that WANTS you to combine challenges! Huggles
