At last...

I'm back with something to show you, I missed everyone! I've been working on a coupla dt cards which is why I've been away a couple of days....there'll probably be a flurry of posts from me soon hehe. Hows everyone doing? I've had a busy week...out and about, visitors, my niece coming to stay...lots going on...all fun things though!

My Magnolia Summer stamp kit arrived this week! Phew that was abit of a wait! So I had to ink this little cutie up first, I think she's my fave! I've used the sketch at The Pink Elephant, added lace which means it can be entered at Dutch Dare, Scrappy Frogs wanted to see a Magnolia stamp, and Colour Create has the theme of orange, pink and green, and Simon Says wanted to see distressing! I had to combine some challenges to catch up with what I've missed this week! Telling ya though, being on the dt for Pile It On kinda makes me want to combine all the time, it becomes a bit of a habit!

Stuff: Magnolia tilda summer kit coloured with copics, mme bloom and grow papers, bloom and grow decoupage pad, lace and bling from stash, core'dinations card, distress inks in antique linen and vintage photo, hero arts sentiment.

I really want to say thank you so much for all the lovely comments you've left me recently, your support really means a lot, truly....I need to come visit quite a lot of people soon...will catch up soon definetly!

I'll be back tomorrow for sure to show you my first dt card for Stamp Something so pop back see me won't you:) Love and huggles to all:)

A Notebook and Colour Create

Afternoon everyone! I think this may well be my last post before I go off on my hols on Saturday morning. I am gonna miss everyone! Will definetly miss my crafting but am super excited to go. Maybe I'll take some images to colour;)

Well onto todays project. The theme over at Colour Create is blush pink, lilac and mossy green. The added extra is to include die cuts but I haven't done that am afraid. As you can see I've made a book....am pleased as punch with myself as my mum got me a bind it all and this was my first go and it came it perfect! I love that little binder! This is for a pressie for someone so have kept it fairly simple on the front cover as she is defo a less is more person. The image is whiff of joy, but not mine I might add, it came from Coco, who is just the sweetest person ever! I won her blog candy last week and there was tons of images in the most beautiful folder she'd made. I love it! So here's the bits I've used:

Materials: Bind it All machine by Zutter, DreamKuts machine, whiff of joy image coloured with Promarkers, BasicGrey Wisteria papers, core'dinations cardstock, nesties circles and scallop circle, rub on from stash, ribbon and twine from stash.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful comments I've had recently-I truly appreciate your feedback, and your kind words just make my day! I am so grateful for the special friends I've made through blogging and the inspiration you all provide. Incase I don't manage to make a post tomorrow then hope you all have a lovely week!

Don't forget though to pop back here a week tomorrow on Friday 19th for the super fun and exciting Sugar Nellie blog hop! I have learnt how to schedule posts so am all raring to go, can't wait to see what all the other stamps look like and the creations the other lovely ladies have made!

Colour Create

This card is for this weeks scrummy colour combo over at Colour Create of red, brown and cream. I decided to do quite a simple card today with minimal embellishments and focus on stamping instead. I love how it turned out in the end, I hadn't even used these lovely swirly stamps, they were hidden in my ever expanding stamp draw (I saw draw but its a chest of draws hehehe). Here are the materials I used:

Sugar Nellie stamp by Leanne Ellis
core'dinations cardstock
Inkadinkadoo clear swirl stamp
doodlebug mini brads
Elusive images Thank You plate
Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie paper
Coloured with distress inks-walnut stain, aged mahogany, tattered rose, vintage photo, broken china, peeled paint, fired brick

Weather's been a bit rubbish today hasn't it? I do love a bank holiday though! Not done too much today, popped down to the village for the scarecrow weekend and did a bit of crafting, nice chilled day:) I did win a punch on ebay, a lacey border punch so it'll be nice to have a go with that when it comes, got it for a bargain too-even better:)

Colour Create and The Karma Award

Firstly, here's my card for this weeks Colour Create which was a gorgeous colour theme of black, white, pink with an optional extra of polka dots. This is only my second entry over there but it is definetly one of my fave blogs to visit and take part in! I've used CCSR The Big One, Doodlebug paper, dcwv rockstar stack, distress inks, gorjuss girl image coloured with promarkers, hearts from a sizzix die using dcwv blossoms and butterflies and ribbon from sillymonkeycrafts but don't think there was a brand. I loved colouring this gorjuss girl in, decided I'd make her really funky-and the pink in her hair with the black looks just like mine atm!

The Karma Award
:

These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind of bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly written text into the body of their award.

I received The Karma Award from my lovely blogging friend Lorraine!

Now I have to pass it it onto 8 others so here goes:

Cute Card Thursday meets Colour Create

Here is my card for cute card thursday which had the yummy theme of chocolate and marshmallows (drooling here). When I look at this card it makes me want some, am really pleased with how it turned out in the end, took a while actually as I originally had a different backing paper and just couldn't co ordinate it, when I eventually gave up with it and chose this one it was done in about half an hour. I'm also entering this for Colour Create as I think it fits in with their colour scheme really nicely of chocolate, coffee and cream. For the card I used Magnolia stamp love muffin, daisy and dandelion backing paper, promarkers, hero arts stamp and papermania brads. Hope you like it! Well I'm off to the Post Office in a moment to send some bits and bobs. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

If you're stopping by please do take a moment to say hi and comment, it really is appreciated and I can come visit you too!
