Victoria Case Blog Hop with QP and SCACD

Morning everyone! Bright and early again for an exciting blog hop post!

Today sees another fab new release from SCACD Stamps! This time it's a new Victoria Case for SCACD collection, and we're being revisited by a sweet character! There are SIX adorable new Aurora images, all being released today. They are being showcased in a fantastic blog hop, in which the Quixotic Paperie DT are once again joining the fabulous SCACD DT! We hope you will join us and enjoy all the inspiration! Plus of course, do a little shopping. wink.gif

You should have hopped over here from
ALEX LUNDGREN. If not, you may want to pop over to ELAINE'S BLOG to start from the beginning!

I got to use this fab image called 'Bee Mine'-isn't she adorable! She's available at Quixotic Paperie
here (available in the US from SCACD here). I used my copics to colour her in, and added some extra stitching. The yummy papers I used are all Echo Park 'A Walk In The Park'-really fun and bright papers! I also had to get my Viva Decor out again-I used the holo iridescent glitter. All the flowers are punched with my retro punches and the swirls are ek success.

The layout is from the sketch over at Papertake Weekly.

Victoria Case for SCACD Stamps are available in the UK from Quixotic Paperie or direct fromSusana's Custom Art & Card Design in the US.

Here's a little close up:

Thank you so much for stopping by and for joining us on the hop! Your next stop on the hop is the super talented MARTI WILLS. Have fun!

Quixotic Challenge-DT Creation

Afternoon everyone! Hope you're all well and have had a lovely weekend so far-it's still quite hot here in the UK so we've been enjoying the sunshine:)

This week over at Quixotic Challenges Kim Costello (PaperBabe) picked the fab thme of 'miniatures' so you could make teeny note cards, alter a small box, maybe decorate a matchbox....lots of possibilities! I decided to make some tags:) I have just been loving the new Whimsy Stamps Release and I used the Whimsy Birthday Letter Seals-aren't they awesome! If you're in the UK/Europe you can get all your Whimsy from Quixotic Paperie or if you're in the USA order directly from Whimsy.

I'm going to enter them at Creative Inspirations-anything goes.

I'll be back probably tomorrow with another Whimsy creation to share! Thanks for stopping by!

Viva Blog Hop with Quixotic Paperie and SCACD

Good morning everyone!!! Fun post for you today-fab way to start a Friday! As you probably know there's been a recent new addition to Quixotic Paperie which is the Viva Decor product line. We have all fallen in love, and so, we're having a little blog hop to celebrate!

Joining the Quixotic Paperie Design Team on this hop we have the fantastic
Susana's Custom Art & Card Design Design Team! Susana is a good friend of Elaine's and SCACD has become like an international sister store to Quixotic Paperie! We're collaborating on some crafty adventures, and this is hopefully the first of many!

We hope you will join us on this hop and be inspired in ways to use the Viva Decor product range! You will also have the chance to win some fabulous candy - both Elaine and Susana will be giving away a pack of the most popular Viva Decor Pens (Ice White Pearl Pen, Holographic Glitter Liner and the Clear Gloss Gel Pen).

All you will have to do to win is answer a question at each store blog - 1 entry at each STORE blog per person please! Both blog candy draws will close on 31st July 2010.

In the UK/Europe you can find
Viva Decor products at Quixotic Paperie. If you're in the US/Canada then Susana carries the Viva Decor range at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design.

Right then lets get going!

You should have hopped over here from
The SCACD Store Blog. If not, you might want to pop over to the Quixotic Paperie Store Blog and start from the beginning!

I decided for my make to have a play with the fab new Kraftin Kimmie stamp Arianna. Isn't she fab! I coloured her in with my copics and then applied the Viva Decor pens on top. I used the Viva Decor Glitter Liner in Ruby and Glitter Liner in Gold on her hair. I added some Viva Decor Glitter Liner in Silver to her fins and around the Tim Holtz ticket-love these! You can also buy the glitter liners from Susana Custom Art and Card Design here. After I coloured her and added all the glitter I realised I'd kinda coloured her to make her look like Ariel in the Little Mermaid:) The thing I love about these Viva Decor pens is that you can really add dimension with them-every other product I've used always dries flat but this just keeps its shape! Fab! The papers I used are all from the newly released Olivia Paper pad by Basic Grey.

For the layout I used the fab sketch over at Simon Says Stamp. Here's a little close-up:~

You can also find the stamp I used today at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design with all the other yummy Kraftin Kimmie stamps here.

Well that's it from me!

Your next stop on the hop is the fabulous Lori.
Have fun!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and for any comments you might leave!

Today I'm showcasing one of Crissy's gorgeous new stamp designs for Whimsy called Maya and Marissa-aren't they adorable! Just such sweeties! I really had fun colouring these girlies in and decided to go all bright and use my unopened Cosmo cricket DeLovely paper pad-I LOVE it! The fun colours go perfectly with this image don't you think? I coloured them in with my copics. The sentiment is from one of Ann's fab new sentiment collections called Fancy Friendship Tags which have just been released today also! Quixotic Challenges DT Card-Pretty Pearls

Afternoon all! Hope everyone's having a great week! This week over at Quixotic Challenges the challenge is set by Kim and she wants us to add pearls to our project. Nice easy one:) Speaking of pearls, have you seen the new Viva Decor pens in stock at Quixotic Paperie? Utterly fab!

Last week I ordered 'Fairy Play' from the new Belles and Whistles Elisabeth Bell Collection so I just had to get her inked up! I used the gorgeous Girl's Paperie papers, some kraft cardstock available from Emma in her Folksy Shop along with 6 x 6 Kraft envelopes-her kraft stuff is fab quality! I've stitched all the edges as usual:) I had a go at making one of those adorable wrapped roses-I love them-and I popped it in the centre of the lollipop flower and painted Shimmerz in pixie dust around the edges.

I actually have joined in some challenges this time! I used the fab sketch over at Mojo Monday-it's been just forever since I played there! I'm also entering this at: Craftalicious (cute), Creative Card Crew (die cuts).

This card will be popping along to My Etsy Shop shortly-I've got 10% off all my cards over there right now as part of Etsy's Christmas in July sale. I've also added more new designs including some gorgeous wooden hanging ornaments which I've altered-this is the heart and home one:

For those of you that haven't really been to Etsy or Folksy before before you start your Christmas Shopping for this year do go over and have a look-there's such amazing pieces of work-I always found the prices excellent, and it's lovely to support someone's small business rather than giving more cash to big corporate companies;)

Hope you find some time to join in with us at Quixotic Challenges this week! Thanks so much for stopping by and any comments you leave:)

The fab thing is, as it's digi, you can start colouring right away! I've actually used some of my Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper which I got last year and never ended up using, I do like this colour scheme though! I also added some punched snowflakes which have been painted with Shimmerz in Pixie Dust and some organza ribbon. The sentiment is from one of Ann's new digital sentiment collections which you can find here-that girls is such a star-I love all her wordart!

Ooo before I forget I wanted to tell you about some fab watermarks and signatures that are now available at Whimsy here, I've had lots of emails in the past asking about help on this so I think this is such a fab idea!
