SCACD Spotlight-Something A Bit Steampunk

Morning all! Fun post again for you today because as part of the Quixotic Paperie 2nd Anniversary celebrations this month, we are throwing the spotlight on some of the fantastic stamp companies in stock.

First in the spotlight are SCACD Stamps! I absolutely love the SCACD range-the different artists means there's something for everyone!

SCACD Stamps is run by the lovely Susana of Susana's Custom Art & Card Design in the US. TheSCACD Stamps range is available in the UK exclusively at Quixotic Paperie.

There are three fab artists in the current range from SCACD Stamps - Carmen Medlin, Elisabeth Bell and Victoria Case, each with a different style.

As part of the celebrations and the spotlight today, we have a PRIZE GIVEAWAY! Pop on over to the Quixotic Inspirations blog to get all the details and enter the draw to win some fantastic SCACD Stamps and more!

ALSO - until midnight on Sunday 12th June you can enjoy 10% off the SCACD Stamps range (does not stack with existing offers).

Now, on to the inspiration! Some of the Quixotic Paperie Design Team have SCACD creations to show you today, and we also have some special guests from the SCACD Stamps Design Team!

This isn't a hop - feel free to dip in and out of the list of designers in whichever order you fancy!

So as part of all this I decided to have a play with Carmen Medlin's image 'Naturally Styled'. This image was actually part of the new release and after seeing the image on the hop (original post here) I bought it immediately-with a few others!!

I decided to go all Steampunk and used the absolutely gorgeous Graphic 45 papers Steampunk Debutante.
I used the fab Make it Crafty Chipboard Gears Galore which I inked and rubbed perfect pearls bronze onto. Here's a close-up:

The lovely crochet ribbon in bronze is available from Quixotic here. Here's an image close up-image is coloured with copics.

I'm going to enter this into a few challenges:

I used the sketch over at Sketch and Stash-the stamp is new! I'm also entering over at A La Card Monkey who's theme is vintage. And Craft Your Passion-anything goes challenge, Crafts and Me-Stamp Something challenge, Anita B-Layer it On, Oldie But a Goodie-Layer it On.

This card will be for sale in My Etsy Shop shortly.

Thank you so much for joining us, we hope you enjoyed checking out SCACD Stamps with us today! I'm off to see the other girl's makes! See you again soon and thank you for any comments you might leave! Ro xx

  9. WOWZERS this is simply stunning - so much gorgeous detail and fantatstic colouring.
Unfortunately I can't include it in the prize draw at An Oldie But Goodie this time as you need to use a rubber or acrylic stamp that is 6 months or more old.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us though and hope to see you again.

  22. Just mentioning uggs snow boots, MM mind first mapped out the shape of simple-minded cartoon snow boots now! Ugg boots this legendary brand, is such a boot, loved by many European and American stars, Ugg boots sustained wind blowing the popular Madden, in Japan, Taiwan, cheap snow boots have a lot of fans.
