Simon Says Tim Holtz and Stamp with Fun-Not a Card!

A really fun project to show you today! I went mental with my distress inks and all my fun things that are tim holtz! I made this box from a SplitCoastStampers tutorial here. If you haven't been over there you really should, their forums are just jam packed with super cool stamping stuff! Even if you're not good at making boxes and bags and stuff I promise you'll find this easy. I'm entering this over at the Simon Says Challenge (use any Tim Holtz products) and the Stamp with Fun (not a card). I used about 5 stamps on this box only one of which wasn't Tim Holtz-and I've used a ton of distress inks:). Just to clarify ALL the images you can see have been stamped! For the filler inside I used rafia and outside to tie I used some twine. I was gonna use this as a gift box but I've decided to keep it:) It's an ideal little gift box though isn't it! So here's what I used:

Materials: Basic Grey cardstock 12 x 12 urban prairie, chipboard, distress inks in peeled paint-tattered rose-walnut stain-black soot-tea dye, Tim Holtz stamps, hero arts french letter background stamp, raffia and twine from hardware shop.

Hope everyones had a lovely day! Thank you for stopping by and for any comments you may leave which truly make my day to hear your feedback! See yas tomorrow!

  1. Oops, don't know where my comment went! This is an awesome project....are the images on the paper, or a stamp? The patterns and the model...love them!

  2. Wow what a fab box I just adore what you have done here Ro. I have some Tim Holtz distress inks but have rarely used them basically because when I have tried the distressing technique its ended up in the bin. I have just seen a tutorial on the Just Magnolia blog so I might just give it another go because I do so love the effects.
